Outlook - Change which browser opens email links
An update was released for Office 365 which is installed on all C2k computers in school. This changed how the desktop version of Outlook opens links, you may find that links in your emails are opening in Microsoft Edge and that you are being presented with an error message about signing in.
If you are clicking on a link for the first time Microsoft Edge will give you the chance to change the setting. Click on "Manage my settings" and change it to "Use system default (Google Chrome)".
If you missed the above option then you will have to change the setting inside the desktop version of Outlook.
In the desktop version of Outlook click on:
File > Options > Advanced > Change “Open hyperlinks from Outlook in” change to “Default Browser”, click OK.
Links from Outlook should now open in Google Chrome.
